It's a girl

My nephew and his wife, Anita had thier second daughter this pass weekend. Her name is Ivy Lorraine 7lbs. and 4ozs. beautiful and perfect in every way. I made a birth announcement as soon as Mark posted the photo on facebook.

I used Cara Mia Sophie QP and add a couple more elements like the cute adoreable sheep by BenthaiCreations. I forgot to write my fonts down sorry and  I made the wordart from a quote I seen on pinterest. 

I also bought a new kit "It's a girl" by Lisete Scraps at the Shabby Pickle, they are sadly going out of busniess in a couple days.  I made two page's for Ivys scrapbook I started.

My second page the photo is with her daddy, Mark he is so over joyed to be a dad again and he's a great father and husband. We are very proud of him.

I used the Ferric Font on these. This kit had some beautiful clusters and elements, the papers were fabulous too!! Ohhhh and those cute alphas hanging off pink ribbions. I definitely fell in love with her products!



I just wanted to show off another page I made with  the "One day in the Forest" Kit by Mediterranka Designs, I told you how I won it at DST Happy place, Just scroll down a bit for information how to get the kit, well my dear friend Janine and her wonderful family went blueberry picking this pass weekend at Hatcher Pass in Palmer, Alaska and the photos were to beautiful NOT to scrap. LOL I am really proud how this came out and know she is going to love it!!!

I had a great muli photo template I've been wanting to break in.

Template #2901 by Yin Designs and I used Chalk font. I love the deer and chipmunk just too cute.

I been tweaking on my blog and got to add my Scrap 4 hire services, so wish me luck.

I've never charged and feel strange doing so but many of my friends and family said to give it a try so here we go.

I love Challenge's and Floral Festival

I just finished the Sketch challenge at GDS, I used Created by Jill's Floral Festival which is part of the Digitals' August CAKE (Create A Kit Event) features sweet summer citrus colors that are to die for!! I love how this came out, My grandson Dakota and I went to the city, friday and we had a wonderful time. We brought some Subway sandwiches and bottle water and had a picnic on the waterfront.
We played some dice and Dakota got to play in the fountain is was such a beautiful day.

Also Becky a.k.a B2N2 Designs has a new kit coming out on August 30th, I got my pages done but I can't show you just yet so stay tune!!



Walking on Sunshine and My First Freebie too!!

I wanted to show you a new kit Jill has at her stores Digital's and GDS "Walking on Sunshine" on sale too, so go check it out.

It's a cute and cheerful kit! I got to make two pages for some friends scrapbook I am working .

First one is for Amada of her little girl, Peyton

and one for my Bestie Carrie, she works at Rogala's and every summer they have a car show and since we are Motor City there are tons of beautiful old classic's.

I also used one of Bella Gypsy's awesome templates.

I also used Rosey Toes  template :: christmas in july, sorry there was no TOU in Rosey's freebie template.

Then I did a page for my dear friend Janine, of her three beautiful daughters.

My template is by Colies Corner.

I won this beautiful kit this week "One day in the Forest" by Mediterranka Designs at DST Happy place!!! I also grabbed and used the free cluster on her blog that goes with this kit.

I made this recipe page for my book, came out pretty nice and the recipe is yummy!!!

Oh Snap I did it

Well I did it, I broke down and made a blog to show case my love for scrapbooking. I also joined a couple of CT (creative teams) for designers of scrap kits. Becky a.k.a B2N2 Design's hired me for the month of August and I love playing with her kits and right now you have to go visit her she is having a birthday bash with lots of free goodies!!

I just loved her "Mani/Pedi" kit!!!

I don't paint my nails no more, but I have a very dear friend Lo who does it daily so I asked her to send me a photo of her Pretty Toes and I made her this page.

I also made Lo a Facebook topper she was excited to get.

Then I snagged this photo from one of my Besties from school, Janine. She was in town for a family reunion and got to visit some of our old friends, Ann and Kari. They had a wonderful afternoon of laugh's, shopping and making memories. I love how both these page

s came out and both gal's were happy to see them.

I also create now for Jill a.k.a Created by Jill, I had been trying out for some CT's for a couple months and I never made the cut, was about to just give up and I ran into Jill as one of my favorite places to hang out at Scrap Orchards. Thanks Jill xox Here are a kit i loved  playing with.
