ARTFUL JOURNEYS - WEEK #26 Ice cream!!!!

ARTFUL JOURNEYS - WEEK #26 Ice cream!!!!

Normally I would be all over this prompt but unfortunately one of my hubbys, Larry brother passed on and then two days later his brother in law pass too. So this was not a good week in our home.
I did manage to doodle my prompt!
Don't know how it happen but my creme feel off the page, lol!!
I only used my Derwent colored pencils (intense) and my trusty fave's Bic's Inkjoy colored pens. Those babies write on anything and I love using them in my art journaling.

I also made two altered CD's this week.

I don't normally decorate my envies but I happen to make this one all spice, LOL

Oh and I made a ribbon doll too just for fun and am sending it to a dear friend,

so I packaged it up in a naked mail. My mailman got a big giggle seeing it.

I made a American themed PLP :) Going up for sale at Artful Express

I will have some ATC's as well.

Well that about wraps it up for me this week. Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you soon!

I'm back!!!

My internet is back on, wooohoo!!! had some issues with the last company we used.
So for now I will show you some stuff I made while I was away.

Amber a.k.a Craft Button Designs has some new dollies!!!!

Here is a postcard I made for a swap I am in. I loved her so much I used her in a couple other projects.
I made my own "Keep Calm" tickets!!

These are some ATC's I sent out as RAK's.

And here is a "tip-in" I made for a friend.

You can not really see it, but the flowers I used my home-made model paste!
It feels all raised and gritty, love it!!! Now if you look on the lower right that was part of a beautiful tag I got for a swap. But when I got it, it was in a official post office envelope, saying "they care" the package was all ripped up and half of it was even gone. So I ripped up what was left of the envelope and glued the half tag down along with the post office envie too, lol

I really love how this page came out and those are the eyes of the talented singer, "Pink"!!!

I hosted an altered CD swap over at AMG
The one on the right is going to my swap partner and the one on the left will be part of a birthday bash giveaway at AMG next month. Opps, I say that out loud? wink wink!
These ones I made for my besties at AMG, Betty, Melody and lovely Lynn.

I got to use my new Liquitex Professional Acrylic Inks, wooohooo Love'em!

OHHHHH MY GOD, need I show you my Valentine gift from the hubby???
Everything I got was on sale or I used coupons!!!
I got so much I have not even tried everything out yet, lol

Yeah I've been busy here are some more of my madness. Starting the next time I post I will tell you all what I used and sometimes how I used it.

Well I hope to see you soon, most likely Sunday when Artful Chicks has the new weekly prompt.

OMG write this down somewhere, blogging TWICE in ONE day! BOOYAH!!!!!

OMG write this down somewhere, blogging TWICE in ONE day! BOOYAH!!!! LOL

Yep I blogged this morning for the first prompt over at Artful Chicks, check it out HERE.
My oldest daughter Randi was here today and we hung out in the art room. She is new to art journaling and ATC's, she made her very first mix media piece an ATC, I just love it.

I made an altered CD
Sorry I don't take the best photos.
.
I place some gesso on an old cd

I used some blue acrylic paint.

Used a sponge to add some white acrylic paint. I also sponged on some pink to, I
was going to use my grid (on bottom of photo) But it had too much black ink on it,

I used a homemade stencil and added some black dots.

I glued some white fiber all around the edge.

I got the girl from a Tangie Baxter collage sheet.
I used some left over dot stickers, so it would lift her a little.

I took my white wax pencil and drew a few circles around the black dots
I also used a inkjoy pen to add some more circles.

I used a couple or word art stamps and gems.

Placed a ribbon on the back to hang her up with.
I love how she came out.

Here is a page I whipped up this morning, I sstarted to show Randi how to do a photo transfer with a magazine cut out. A girl in the red dress.
I used watercolors for the backgroun and made circles with my faber castell gelatos
and big size bubble wrap. I made the tiny dots with homemade stencil and ink.
Cut out some words from magazines. The glasses I made with a stamp. I also used a gem and flower.

Well that is it for now, and hope to see you soon.
