I survied my first DSD

Well I survied my first DSD!!! I bought tons of goodies and scrapped a ton of pages.

I mainly hung out at SO (Scrap Orchard) They had many wonderful games and challenges!!! I also used thier newest mega kit "November 2012 Mega: Roots & Leaves by Scrap Orchard Designers"

I scrapped a couple pages for the Election too!!!

My daughter, Kat posted a photo of her "I voted sticker" right afterwards she told me she did her make-up speical for the page I was going to scrap, LOL!!

End of October and freebies

WOW already the end of October. Where did the time go, well my grandma always said "The older you get, the quicker it goes" ain't that the truth because I don't believe christmas is almost here. Well enough about that it is depressing me, lol

My adoreable nephew, Cameron *Cam* his mom found him just sitting down at our local Mejers, just checking out of the cool ghoulie goodies.

This page is my oldest daughters niece and nephew who went with Jon and Toni to Augusta, GA Downtown Zombie walk this year. Neither of them had went before and just was told to dress like zombies. So there did and all of'em had a wonderful time and will be making it a yearly trip.

Ohhh I did say a freebie I turned on of my pages into a QP, but you have to go to Jamie's a.k.a The Kit Karts blog to pick it up.

Manda a.k.a. Nibbles Skribbles has a little kit once was part of collab  she decided to call it The Nameless Mini and for a limited time it's only $1.04 at theStudio!

I found a wonderful photo of my granddaugher, Faith on her first birthday.

I re-created a word art I seen somewhere. I'm sorry I lost my notes and don't remember what fonts I used. Grr hate losing my notes.

Pumpkins oh Pumpkins

I did a couple pages for my dear friend, Janine's book. She happen to have a family reunion photo she attended when she came to Michigan for the summer.

Then I made a page with a couple photos of her and her family.

I love how both of them came out!!! I am weaning myselft off of using so many templates and use some tools on my PSP program. Not too shabby.

And last I did the Recipe Challenge at PBP, The hostess gives you a list of paper and elements and you have at it, lol

and here is what mine looks like, I didn't have stars with the kit I used, which was Armina Designs Afternoon Kiss Bundle" Tons of beautiful rich papers and elements. Again no template, woohoo I used the psp program tools. I really think my clustering is getting much better!! I also got to use some wonderful Leaf Stitching I found as a freebie from Erica Zanes blog.
